Meet Our President

After graduating college in 1979, Mr. O’Connell joined a heavy construction company in Washington, DC as an office engineer then as a superintendent working on the metro subway system. In 1983 he changed to commercial construction and joined one of the largest commercial building contractor’s in the Washington, DC area, working his way up to VP of construction. In 1992 he joined Triad and has been the sole owner since 2006. He has managed millions of square feet of commercial, retail, hospitality, medical, and residential construction. In 24 years, Mr. O’Connell has grown Triad from a small DC area tenant contractor, to a general contractor serving the Mid-Atlantic region.
